This is Safiqul Islam, who believes in simplicity (yet considered as an ultimate complexity), a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Networks and Distributed Systems Group, at the Department of Informatics, University of Oslo where I am working with Professor Michael Welzl and Professor Stein Gjessing, and my research topic is coupled congestion control. I am a participant in European RITE project which aims on reducing Internet's transport latencyi and NEAT.

Research Interest

It’s my passion to work with new technologies. I prefer to work specially on Network Layer (Layer 3) or above in the OSI model. My research interest is centered around  IP networks ( Congestion Control, Routing Protocols, and Future Internet).
