IK2204 was a course which taught us about internetworking among different kinds of networks. We learnt about RIP, OSPF, DECnet and various other intra-domain routing techniques. A complete ISP setup was the project for this course.

In IK2205, BGP was the main focus. All the ins and outs of BGP was explored with hands on Lab. We were taught all the techniques for making the routing stable. The course ended with a real world problem solving project using BGP.

The course IK2555 was a complete research oriented course where the main target is to produce a research paper on wireless network architecture. My work was on implementing Intrusion Detection System in Wireless Sensor Networks. I have proposed a hierarchical IDS for Wireless Sensor Networks.

Mobile devices and wireless networks poses a different challenge in designing security measures due to their constrained nature. Current trends, future research areas and standards in this area has been the topic of this course which ended with a well defined project of security design.
